Daiwa Rebellion 610MHRB
Has anyone used this rod yet? Mainly looking to use it for multi porpurse use, smaller paddle tails, top waters and some jerk baits.. Thanks

I picked up the Daiwa Rebellion 610MHRB as soon as they hit the market. I've used mine for square bills, vibrating jigs, swim jigs, spinner baits, a full sized Vixen, buzz baits, paddle tails, etc. It's a little on the stout side for most jerk bait fishing in my opinion, unless you're using really large, deeper diving baits. It's really a very nice, versatile rod in a really nice line of rods. Mine is paired with an old Daiwa TD-Z BBS with the precision aluminum spacers allowing the use of a G1 Duralumin spool. It has completely changed the performance of this reel to say the least!

i've got that model. i really the way the blank fishes, but the seat is uncomfortable to me. i can change around the way i palm the reel and make it work, but would prefer it with an air beam or the seat used on the tat elites.
