Not me. Have only seen a max GPS speed on my boat at 66mph. I usually only run 55 to 60.

I’ve never had anyone ask how fast my 3500 Duramax would go. Doesn’t mean that much to me anymore. All the 19’ and up boats will run fast enough to take you to the scene of the accident. When stuff goes wrong, 50 is too fast. Now when I was in my 20’s I ran a 15-1/2’ HydraSport with a 150 merc. Don’t know how fast it would go, but the only boat to ever pass me was an 18-1/2’ Allison With a worked 235hp Evinrude. That thing was fast.
There’s no use being stupid if you’re not willing to show it off.

This. You could probably add some of the Bass Cat models and maybe a Blazer model to the list.

Tournament loaded now your options dwindle a bit. I'm basing this on a stock 250 outboard. Any Allison, Most bullets but the XRS may take some work to run 80 tournament loaded, Gambler/sterling , Blazer 625 can do it but most don't, a hand full of Eyra's run 80 with a load. I would say Ballistic but I haven't seen any numbers on one with a stock 250. It would think it would but until I see one do it I just don't know.

I'm on my second Eyra and it is a spectacular platform but neither of them would run 80 tournament loaded. 81.8 is my best and 80 on a good day with all my gear and the right weather is fairly normal. I'm a decent driver but not the best. There are a few folks who have been able to wring out the most from their setups.

My 2100 Gambler will hit 82. something easy fully loaded 50 gall of fuel. 2018 250 pro XS (whatever last year made was), gen two torque master and lithium batteries. There is still some left to give it but I run out of room. Plus, I've heard around 85-86 the lower unit can blow out. Running a 26 or 27 fury.

My friends old 2100DC hit 87.3 running a 250 ProXB with both of us, tournament load and maybe half tank of fuel.

That might be dependent or your state of being when/if you arrive there.

Strokers are still being made, while it is very limited. There is a 2020 model sitting in the mold now.

Guy on the Falcon Forum is hitting 80-81 mph in his F205 I believe. I know I hit 74 fully loaded with stock prop at 5500 RPM, I bet with a little tuning and practice I could get real close to 80.
