yes definatly after the fall turnover, the lake will clear some spots will get gin clear again and the fishing will turn on again unfotunatly do to the warm summer it mite be a little later,by the time mid to end of October it should be good again,if your brave and a die hard and the weather holds up,November can be spectacular,late august and September are always the worst for me,and you are correct may is a good month

i have the last week of october off right now...might see if the 3rd is available too. come up for couple days.

I was there a few years ago for Fed opener. Snotty weed everywhere. Nobody caught anything. Got backboated by the tourney winner who caught 5 bass the whole day fishing docks and using his powerpoles. Very bad day. 6 hour ride home. Never going to do Fed again, never going to the lake again unless it's oct...
