    Images 1, 2, and 4 are of a brushpile? Looks like it's holding fish? And the third image... what is that? I don't have Livescope. Just learning.

    Looks like bridge pylons with fish around it.

    Oh I could post plenty of pictures with a dead zone!I
    The 1st picture is over a soft bottom and I think it looks pretty good. No dead zone or void.
    In picture #2 and #4 the brush is closer than the depth of the water so the dead zone doesn't show up.
    I still have a dead zone over hard bottom even with a new black box I received from Garmin last week.
    I'm running the latest software from Garmin on my unit and black box, 2.41 on the box, update for my Ultra 1222 came out with the last couple of weeks

    Here is one with a dead ( void) area right through the middle of a big solid brushpile!
    No matter how I aim my transducer the middle of the brushpile disappears. As I mover either closer or further away from the brush the dead zone stays in the same area of the screen.

    Thanks for the pic and description. I am trying to learn about the LS units and the 360 Mega not sure which one to get yet.

    What causes the dead zones?
