    Advice on used Stratos

    Hi all,

In the market for another bass boat as my old tracker has been finally decommissioned.

Looking at an older (1995) 18' Stratos with a newer I Yamaha 150hp Vmax on it (80hrs).
Seats, steering, carpet are all new and the hull has been completely restored recently.

Does anyone have any experience with these boats and/or have advice on what to look out for or if this would be a waste of money?

Price is around $13k so looking for advice as my only experience is with aluminum boats.

has wood in it and would look trailer over well. seems high to me as I think that is about what mine would be worth (13-14k)?? transom issues also a possibility

That's awful expensive for a 25 year old boat, I'd keep looking.

    That's a lot. I figure that my 09 285XL with a 150 VMax is worth about that.

You mention newer motor, how new. Package seems very high priced

Even with that newer motor that is a high price. I picked up a 19.5 foot '97 295 Pro Elite a while back that has a 56 hour 2010 Merc 200hp ProXS on it, and got it for just under 10..
