    To be totally honest I did not ask about the Viper steering wheel; however, they did install tilt/trim and plate controls on the steering column. There were a couple of loose connections on the viper system from the factory but once those were resolved everything appears to be working correctly...just need to calibrate fuel and tilt/trim gauge.
