I use a aldebaran 30 mgl and core 50 mg7.
Both reels are light enough to throw for long periods of time without wearing you out.
I use expride 6'10 med as my rods.
scorpion dc with a 7 foot Cashion med / fast 10 or 12 lbs flouro works here in the SE
Daiwa Tatula SV or Steez SV. That SV spool is great at throwing lighter baits. The Curado DC will work great too, but it is a heavier reel than the Tatula SV. For some that matters, others it doesn't.
I would go with a revo stx. The Infiniti system is amazing. I got an old revo gen one on my jerkbait rod. The walleye guys throw jerkbaits with fireline alot. I am gonna have a good set up for that next year.
Could not be happier throwing them with Chronarch MGL with 30lb Samurai braid

Curado. Great reel.
On the BPS Carbonlite, I much prefer the Pro Qualifier. My experience with the Carbonlite that in order to reduce the weight, they did away with some key features, namely the internal braking system. I found it impossible to properly tune this reel and I run my reel as loose as I possibly can. Can not imagine using this reel and a jerkbait on a windy day. That was3-4 years ago. Maybe they have corrected this issue.
