    I Did It!!

It took me a while, but I bought a Blazer today - 2018 - 625. I can’t wait to get it out and get fishing again. Life has thrown me multiple medical curve balls in June so the timing is perfect. I’ve never fished out of a Blazer so hopefully I’m as excited next week.

Beautiful boat!!! Once you get some seat time in I would like to hear how the boat runs with the Suzuki as well.

The truth is - I haven't used it once. Been a long wild summer for me. Last weekend of May discovered I had a brain tumor on my right temple. June 2 - 6 hour surgery to remove it. Then mid June ended up with 2 blood clots on my lungs and some time in the hospital. Started Chemo/radiation around the first week of July. Had a new boat on order from different company and they cancelled my order about that time. Bought this boat in mid July with hopes of getting it ready and being ready to go when I finished treatment end of August and can drive again legally Sept 2. Well tomorrow is that day. I am hoping for this weekend, but who knows. I finished treatment Aug 25 and have not had the immediate superman bounce back like I hoped for. So we will see how I am feeling. I am doing good and feel relatively good - just get tired quick and easy. Have to make sure I have enough energy to drive home after fishing. Closest lake is 90 minutes.

Damn man. Make sure you take care of yourself first. The boat will be there. Just make sure you’re ready. Love the looks of your boat by the way. I love the looks of the 625

Well finally got out in my 625 some in the last week. May not be a popular review around here so I am sorry, but I am not impressed. Trying my best to be patient and learn to like it, but I'll probably have it posted for sell very very soon. It's not that it isn't good, it just isn't great in any category IMO compared to my last 3-5 boats and it really struggles in 2 of my important categories. It is extremely wet when idling and graphing. I have found several boats struggle in this category, but it seems the 625 is extreme IMO. The ride is pretty good in rough water, but IMO the ride is not as good as it should/could be in the small slop (6-18"). On the positive, I will say I think it fishes very good and the lay out is very efficient and well thought out. I was told the Suzuki would run 78-80, but I don't believe the previous owner was being honest. 75-77 is more realistic. I might try some props if I keep it. He has a 28 Suzuki 4 blade. I'll try a Bravo XS next that ran real good on my Bullet and would like to try a big 3 blade maybe.

Just curious to what the other 3-5 boats are you are comparing to? I am working towards a new boat and Blazer is on the list of options.

Dave TTN, My last 4 boats are a Bullet 21XDC, Champ 210, BassCat Puma and a Charger 496. The Charger was very similar. Did everything good, but nothing great. But I want to be careful and make sure - this is my opinion only. There are many that will disagree and many who will take the 3 in my comparison and hate them in certain areas. They weren't perfect either, but their imperfections matched better with my I don't cares. We all have different things we like and dislike so we all can have a different opinion without anybody being right or wrong.
