    Chickamauga in the fall

    Some friends and I would like to fish Chickamauga this fall. Was thinking latter part of September, or is there a better time?

    Sucktember is the worst month to visit. TVA begins winter drawdow early in September, so that makes it worse. I would wait until the end of October, after the BASS Elite event that ends on October 19. The fall will be junk fishing for sure.

    Fishing in Kentucky really sucks in September too. I'll tell the guys we should wait until later in the year.
