Man, I've looked for the past 4 months to no avail.....at least 24v #80. I found a couple for $400/$500 that were beaten to hell. All the quality ones were $700 to $1200. I bought an older maxxum pro (basically the same TM) in good shape for $250 with a Gforce and called it a day. It'll do until I can justify a spot lock TM. In the interim a 10' pole and a bungee cord will have to do...😉

Installed new Fortrex on my tin boat. Definately a big upgrade from the Edge. Mount is a beast, pretty easy install. Fish mostly shallow , so could not justify another 1300. for the Ultrex. Thanks for everyones input.

I have had the 70lb edge on my RT188. I was going to go with a good used 80lb Fortrex. But kept thinking about spot-lok. Found a one year old Ultrex (on here) for $1500. Going to start putting it on today.

Have a good one and thank God for it!

Had a Fortrex for 4 years before I got the Ultrex. Not one single issue. Switch to AGMs and you're golden.

I sold my Maxxum w/G Force for $200-250 (I don't remember exactly) but I saw a bunch being listed (and not selling) for double that.

Fished Erie yesterday, Fortrex worked great, and was easier on the batteries than the 70 lb, Edge. Works for me, first place in club TX.

I thought it was a pretty good deal at $250 with the Gforce. I added 2 gas struts to mine so ingress/egress are like butter. It'll do until spot locks drop into my comfort zone.
