I've been re carpeting my Ranger and after carpeting over the seat pedestals, what is the best way to cut out the seat post holes so it looks clean and not all frayed up?

An automotive gasket hole punch works nice
Use a soldier iron and use it to cut the carpet. It melts the edges as you go and stops the carpet from in-reviling. This is how it’s done from the factory.
Gun Control..... Is hitting your target every time
+1 on soldering iron.
Make sure when you use soldering it is in well open area. Fumes are toxic and deadly..
