Son-in-law has been asked to sell his boat. I couldn't give him a good estimate. It's a 2006 18ft G3 with a 40h Yammie (2-stroke). Whatcha think? Lives in Southeast MO if location matters much. Trolling motor isn't anything worth mentioning (an old Motor Craft) and has a Helix 7 on it. Short of that it's bare bones.

14 year old boat with a small 2 stroke motor. Depending on condition of hull and trailer, Im gonna throw out a # of $3000-3500. Give or take.
Around here it should bring $5000+ if it is in good shape

2015 ..16 ft G3.., 1996 50 hp Johnson...I got $2,900. Everything worked great.
Right now boats in good shape are selling like crazy. If it's still nice and cherry he'll get top dollar for it and maybe even a little more if he's lucky.

Drive tight or like ya just chugged a 5th of Tequila?
Trailer tight/new rubber/paint flawless or bearings/hubs shot, rock blasted paint, riding on bald eagles?
You get the point....
It's underpowered....
Quality hull/manufacture...
The rest is a long way from current...
IMOP, if it's in solid/average condition you can get $4k+....if its lake ready. In outstanding condition you might be surprised.
However, again IMOP, you'd better get it sold before the corona recession really begins to rear its ugly ugly head on main street. I'm beginning to see the boat/utv dumping to make house payments beginning in our region.
Btw, the value of boats, airplanes etc isn't necessarily age.... older, well appointed, and immaculate will always fetch a premium.

What model boat is it? I'm guessing a Guide 18? Unless it's a Mod V that is way underpowered.
