Battery cutoff and the engine

How many have their battery cutoff switch wired to the engine? My rig is a 2005 and there was no cutoff switch just switchable breakers to TM and one for all other electrical. I added a 3rd for my electronics a while back but wondering if the outboard needs to be isolated as well?

I have a cutoff switch for my Yamaha SHO. I believe there is a draw on the battery from the outboard just setting there.
