I prefer to format the card before putting the files on so it is completely blank.

I ran into the exact same thing. On my Mac, 'Archive Utility' is the default program handler for .zip files. If you use this to try and open the zip, it will fail. It turns out that at some point and time, I installed another archive program called 'The Unarchiver'. If I right click on the downloaded update file from Humminbird and choose to run 'The Unarchiver' utility, it unzips it just fine with no issues. I suspect the bug is with Apple's built in 'Archive Utility' program and not Humminbird's zip file.

Same here. Had to dig out an old PC laptop to get the files to extract.

So did the update and all is well but i was concerned when adjusting settings I only saw depth and not depth 1 and depth 2 like before. I see this is a fix in the update so I’m fine after all but curious why the fix?

    BUT It doesn’t work

You can adjust the slider bar but is has no effect on the displayed reading

I've been pointing this out for over a year and HB tech's confirmed the issue almost a year ago yet still no fix for this
I'm pretty proficient at the Solix menus and I don't think I have ever seen this water temp offset setting. Where is this option located in the Solix menu system?

For Mac users having trouble unzipping the files, try the following. It worked for me.

Looks like I'm going to have to build a print list of settings and record everything before loading. I have the quick reference cards from Tech Angler and they cover a good bit, but winging it is getting old.

I think I'll try and dictate into an email initially and hope it gets the wording right. Might try pictures of the screen but if I have a list I can always update if I make changes.

exactly what i do except i take screenshots and save them as well as notes on ipad. On another note when updates come out I sure hate going in every view to turn off globals. Other than that love my solix units

Anyone else have an issue with 2D sonar on this update? Mine is completely broken now, won't read depth reliably. This is with an Airmar TM165HW on a Solix 10 MSI+ G2, using the Y cable. Pics of pre update on 3.5 and last night post update.

Was the Airmar installed in the first picture? Did settings get changed to the same as it was before reset to defaults?

I use the supplied Humminbird Transducer with my Solix 15 SI+ G2 and am not having any issues with the 2D, DI, or SI.
