Good deal by PepsiCo. I won't qualify as i have a lifetime permit from years ago. Hope a lot of new young anglers get introduced this way.

Nice gesture but you better jump on it quick. Only the first 5k will be selected

Well I am not a cheapskate so I wouldn't even bother applying let people who actually need one get it.

Seriously. If money is a barrier to someone getting into fishing, let them take advantage of this.

My freshwater license is $7.50 a year, I think. I paid cash, too. Sadly, it'll go into the General Fund and our DF&W will get whatever the graft artists in Olympia decide to let them have.

Mine is low only because I'm really friggin' old. I'd rather be way younger and pay the usual "way too much" BS graft/thievery.

Agree!! Great gesture and will hopefully create more interest in this great outdoors we have all around us and cause it to get more support in doing things to help enjoy and preserve it for generations to come. Just stocked up my 2 liter Dew supplylast week. Think there is about 65 left in the spare room. One 2 liter a day keeps the doctor away!!
