    150 on a X19?

Anyone run a 150? I know It isn't the popular option but a lot of people run a 115 on the H20B, which is what I have on order. I'm changing my order to a bass boat though.
Originally planned to do the X18 but if I can get in the 19 with 150 for a good price, why not? One foot shorter than the bay boat I have on order and a bigger motor than I was going to have...

When I priced the x19, the 150 SHO was the exact same price as 175 SHO... a packaging deal I guess...
You might get an F150 a little cheaper.

I just need to get into the bass boat for 36k or less with all the options I ordered on the bay boat. Mainly appearance package, Helix 9 (but would go 7), ipilot, hydraulic steering.

Cbump, Smith Motors quoted me 34,900 for X18 with 150 SHO, the elite package, hot foot, manual jack plate and sea dek. He advertised X19 with 175 SHO for 35,900 but no sea dek for that price. As I said in an earlier post, I went with X18 and F150 which put me right at my set in stone budget of 35 out the door. Did not need the boat I just wanted it so I was determined to stick to the number I was willing to spend. Also my 2012 X17 pulled out of my drive for the last time today, son in law better take good care of it.

You’re the man. Thank you! Called Saturday to change my order and the salesman (Hayden) asked me to call Monday. Called today and he had taken the day off. So will try again tomorrow!
Did you happen to get a quote for the 18 with 115 SHO? Might be able to save some money over the bay if I go that route. Unless the 150 on the 19 is significantly cheaper than the 175 the 19 may be more than I’m looking to spend. Really want the sea deck and ultrex.

Did not get a quote with 115, sorry. I dealt with Keith, think Hayden is his son, who told me sea dek was around 1500 and I know the Ultrex is about 1500 more than the foretrex I ordered. F series Yamaha will be cheaper than the SHO, $2000, in my case, so that's what I gave up.

    Here’s what I ordered today for $36.5k
Xpress X18 pro, Blue appearance package, white hull, black bottom, black console, 115 SHO, hydraulic steering
    ultrex 80 MDI, elite package

Not saying I got a bad price, but curious how I’m at $36.5 with 115 if you were quoted $34,900 for 150 SHO. Seems like the only difference is that I got the ultrex (upcharge), black console ($500), hydraulic steering ($850). But no hot foot, no jack plate, and smaller cheaper motor.

    should I call them back?

Your $34.9 price comes with the hydraulic steering standard since it’s the 150. So surely the ultrex and a painted console don’t cause the boat to be $1600 more with 115 than the 150.

Cbump, lost my email with 34900 price but I think that was with elite package, 150 SHO, lift arms on lids, spare tire, hot foot and jack plate. Think he had not added sea dek to that price. SHO is quite a bit more than F series motors but may be worth to most just not me

I did a little research and that actually sounds about right. I was quoted 30900 no sea deck, no hydraulic steering for the 115Sho. Guess the add ons add up quick! I think too the sea deck price of $1800 is not the same as the appearance package price which I learned is like $2300. Plus the $850 for hydraulic steering. Ultrex about $1500-1600.

Maybe I should have gone with the 115 gray motor

Have you looked at the 18 and 19 in person?
My closest dealer doesn’t have any so I’m buying strictly off research.

Does the 19 seem noticeably much bigger as far as fishing space goes? (Motor and speed aside)

Did look at a 19 when I drove up to make the deal but 18's are few and far between. Coming out of a 2012 X17 which had 88" beam and 59" bottom into 18' long 95" beam and 67" bottom will seem much bigger and more stable I hope. As you know all the X series are the same except for length and minor,to me, layout difference so just have to dream and wait. I assume you were told 6-8 weeks as I was. First time in over 43 years I have been without a boat.

While I was on the phone, they offered me an X19 they had in stock with 200 SHO for $39k. I almost jumped on it but I’m weird and would have regretted later cuz I would have spent more and not gotten exactly what I wanted as far as options. The thought of a 200 had me going for a minute though. Even though I have no need and went into this buying process with no intentions of one.

I drove 8 hours last Nov to compare an X18 & X19 side-by-side. Cockpit is exactly the same. Rear deck appeared the same. The extra length was in the front deck. For me the X18 just worked better... easy handling, enough storage for my rods & tackle, single axle trailer, better fit in garage...It all depends what you want. If I was 20 years younger or fishing bfl's, I might have chose differently...money wasnt the decider.

I have a 2013 X19 with an F150. Loaded with 2 people and full fuel I get 55MPH and I haven't tinkered with the prop and setup yet.
