Question Stalker/Prowler wheels on an older model trailer?

I'm about to upgrade the wheels on my 2008 Puma trailer with either Stalker/Prowler wheels. The offset is different and the tires will likely stick out by 0.75" to 1" from the outside of the fender. Has anyone done this and have feedback? Thanks.

I added Prowler wheels to my 2007 PII.

Replaced the factory Low Profile 20's that were originally on it.

I had no issue, I just made sure the total tire diameter was the same.

Thanks Bill. Do the tires extend out slightly from the edge of the fender?

I have that trailer and almost made that switch a couple of years ago. You shouldnt have an issue.

Thanks. My current basscat wheels are about 8 1/2 to 9" wide and the stalker is 10" Right now the tire is already about 3/4" wider than the edge of the fender. Hopefully I can find someone that has actually changed their wheels to make sure.

I'm still thinking about it. When I visualize another inch I'm not sure it would look right. Thanks again.

Basscat told me it will stick out about an inch. Just not able to visualize whether that's awkward looking or not. Thanks

I have a 2011 basscat sabre that I put new basscat wheels on. Before I did it I called basscat and they told me they would work but they would stick out a little further than the original ones. I went ahead and did it and at first I noticed the difference, mostly when looking at them in the rear view mirrors, now I don’t even notice it.
