Helix 10 G1 SI Display issue after Update -1.9

Helix 10 G1 SI was working perfect, updated to 1.9, no issues during upload. Get to lake and notice display in 2D sonar, green/yellow/blue bar from 0-9' in display. Cannot adjust any other setting combination to remove this area without losing all of 2D sonar. Any ideas? Transducer or circuit board? (this does not show up in simulator)

That is surface clutter, nothing unusual about it. It will take up less screen space in deeper water.
If is green yellow blue because that is the 2D color pallet you have selected.

I don't think its surface clutter, same for any lake I am on, and if I start changing settings to remove it, I lose bottom. it is there if in or out of the water as well. I am use to it being that 0-2.5 ft as you show. (transom transducer)

If it is windy, the surface clutter line get thicker since the water gets aerated and that reflects sonar pulses.
Add in any algae growth adds more stuff to record.

You are correct, any filtering you add also deletes what the unit records.

Here is shallower with the surface clutter taking up more screen space and the air in the water is read as fish bladders turning on the FishID symbols.

Surface clutter in over 70' of water with the thermocline:
