Back to Mohave. I still didn't get any top water going. Lot's of activity is not leading to bites. Caught 3 small smallmouth off the points with a spinnerbait then hit one smallie 3.5 on a chatter bait in the grass. I could not get the grass bite on the largemouth going that was half way decent the sat before.
IMHO that's a tough lake to fish. Visablity is 30 to 40 ft. Not much structure in the main lake other than a few rock piles and dead trees in the north end toward Cotton wood cove. The back of coves are hit and miss. That lake is like a giant fish bowl.

I spent 10 hrs on that lake in April and never caught a fish. Had 36ft visability. Saw alot of fish but they always see you before you saw them. Tough lake for sure...
