Anyone have any experience with the new model that has the camo handle? Interested in the 7’7” MH for finesse football jigs.

the rod fishes more like a medium i throw hula grubs on a open football head out deep but i use 12 pound floro it'll drive a light hook but if you want to throw something with a heavier hook and weed gaurd id step up to a heavy the phenix rods fish a power under in my opinion

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Will be using 12lb Fluro with a 7/16 finesse football jig. Has weed guard of course

Should be great i fish alotof rocky smallmouth lakes we use gamakatsu footballs with spidergrubs ive gone all the way up to a 3/4 ounce on this rod
