Gen 1 Helix??

Is this just the originals? I have a Helix 9 KVD...it's not a Gen 2 or Gen 3. Does that mean it is a Gen 1?? Wanting to buy Graph glass for it and would prefer to know it's a Gen 1 before i spend the $50. Thanks.

First generation units didn't have a generation designation since there were no other generations to compare them to.

will the transducers for the KVD unit work with a G2n? G3 is different right? Will the glassed in 2d transducer work for all ? Thanks

You can dumb down the second generation to the first generation level to use the older transducer.
The second and third generation SI units have true Down Imaging.
The third generation Helix units have HW CHIRP instead of 83/200 kHz so that is not compatible.

The first and original second generation Helix units have 83/200 kHz 2D sonar so the shoot-thru 2D would be the same. EXCEPT for the SI HW Promo G2N models.
