    Livewell Recirculating Pump questions

I have a 2005 Puma and the recirculating pump went out last year. Replaced the pump and now the spray is super weak. I tried switching pumps, back flushing the system, putting a pipe cleaner in all the holes, switched the wires and the only thing that will make it pump a little harder is to take off the screen in the livewell and put my finger in it and it sprays slightly harder. But when restarting it goes back to the weak spray. It is a 750gph pump too. My aerator pounds the water in, but that doesn't work real well fishing a lot of dirty shallow water. Any ideas?

There are ball valves on the end of the spray bars that can be opened to flush the spray bars. The pushing back in the aeration spray holes is only good if you can flush that trash out that build up in there. It is likely that is what took the pump out also. The pumps today are 1000 GPH models.
