Another ultrex steering issue

Today on the water in heavy rain the ultrex would not turn. Left after getting frustrated after a while i slammed on the pedal it started working but started acting up again then it started working left but right was acting up.
Well I have a tournament in the am and I been messing with it all night here is what I found. I removed the pedal and backing plate and unscrewed the control board if I push on the area where the rubber stops press aaginst the back one or left works but the top one right does not I also tried to use the remote with no luck so I disconnected the control board and then the remote works so I guess I have to use it like that for tomorrow but wondering if I should get a new board

Check your date of purchase. The warranty was extended to 3 years a while back.
