Do people in FL even have central heat ? Heck I would think a small portable heater for a room would be enough. But heck if I know.

Mine quit @730am a few weeks ago. While at work at about 9am, I'm making calls to get quotes. FedEx makes a delivery, the driver overhears me, he's got a HVAC company too. Get home at 430pm, new AC is in and running! $4100 for a new Carrier 15seer 4ton heat pump installed, handler and compressor. Can't beat that!

Someone told me Mitsubishi was the best ac to buy right now. Said they would last like the old ones. Everything else would only last around 10 years.

Around here I've been getting advertisements multiple times a week advertising the companies have extra in stock and offering big discounts.

Delivered new houses to buyers for 20 years. Always told them to check their A/C early in may. Shops get backed up when it gets hot

Finally just installed a new unit. They actually put in a carrier brand and I had a cheap Goodman. Didn’t cost me a dime so I guess it was worth the wait but a big hassle.

I am with Canman. I work in the HVAC industry, and have seen no issue with getting equipment. If you don't mind me asking what brand of equipment is he not able to get?
