Was curious if anyone has replaced the sending unit and float assembly? My fuel gauge recently quit working and I am pretty certain that is the issue. I have already checked wire connections and they are fine.
Thanks,
Mike

Yeah, mine did the same. Looks like a pain to get to the sending unit.
Here's a couple of troubleshooting guides to test the gauge and sender. Need to make sure you have 12 volts on the "I" post of the fuel gauge when the ignition switch is on. If both the gauge and sender test out OK, then look for a pinched/cut wire in-between. That is a pink wire on Champion, probably the same on your Cobra.

Thank you!
I replaced mine not too long ago, it wasn't that bad to do. I removed my seats, and found access to it behind the drivers side. Just pay attention to the positioning as you remove the unit, as the bolt holes only line up one way, with the bolt pattern. My sending unit that I ordered had the instructions to adjust the float to the proper height as well.

Ryno is right, very easy, did my 201D not long ago as well.
