    Cedar Creek

It is just west of Fort Scott. Anybody fish it this year? I went there right after it opened and it was almost unfishable for the trees. Was wondering how it is now?

Still pretty thick. If you are worried about getting scratches on your boat I would avoid it. Right now I'm sure the bass are in the middle of the cedars. It can be a lot of fun but can get pretty frustrating. Lot of quality fish in that lake.

Had a fun day. Over 100 fish caught but most were less than 12" it is still very hard to navigate.

That’s how that lake has always fished for me, though I never caught 100 in a day, wow! Very few keeper size fish, but can usually catch 1 decent fish a day. Use up a lot of plastics catching all those 13 inchers!

Our club had a tourney there Sunday. good numbers of small fish, but no body had a big one. 18" was big bass, I won with 11.9 and second was 10.0. From all the talk we expected to catch a few very big fish, but no one found any, still fun.
