Prop for my 201 xl ?

So I’ve picked up a 2012 250 e-tec ho my old motor was a 200 venom that I still have the renegade four blade prop from I’m assuming I’ll have to change to a different prop was wondering if I might get some help as to where a good starting point would be thanks should have mentioned not looking for top speed more nice hole shot good grip on the water thanks again

24p bravo 1 or a 25p fury

What gearing does the 2012 HO have? For grip I would go with a Bravo1 25-27p or maybe Marks Razor4xl in the same pitch range.

I run a 28p Razor3 and 27p Bravo1 on my 08 with the magnum gearcase (1.85:1) gearing. When I had the L2 case (1.71:1) I ran a 27p Tempest and 26p Bravo1.

Now don’t laugh motor is just new to me but would the type of gear ratio be stamped or printed somewhere on the motor so I could figure that out or would that have been something the original owner would have requested thanks

It is probably a magnum case but you would have to check your owners book, or search the model info to be sure.
