Getting ready to pull the trigger on an 1880.

Anything I need to make sure to get or look out for. Ultrex is a must, how about the passenger console?
It’s a 2020 model in Sapphire blue. Got to match the truck.

Great to hear it. You're going to enjoy this boat. I'm coming up on a year with mine.and loving it. If your going to take the Mercury route, consider the Tote-Rite transom saver. You will find that besides the traditional stick transom savers, there aren't many other options out there for the 115 OB. Fortunately I cam across the Tote-Rite, its great. Good luck with your new Vexus.

most people dont realize that the passenger console has a HUGE lockable glove box that is ideal for registration, sunscreen, extra sunglasses, plenty of room for cell phone, and still a lot of room after all that !

I have a second console on my current Skeeter. I load that sucker up. I ordered the lockable coin box between the seats in the 1880 to handle that glove box duty. Right now I would rather have that extra space as I fish solo 99 percent of the time.

Just FYI guys if you order now your boat will be a 2021. Also a price increase for the new model year is coming. I ordered today and Vexus waived the price increase. My delivery date is first week of September.

I was between an 1880 and 1980, if i had gotten the 1980 I would have gotten the console, but on the 1880 the deck space was more of a priority than the second console. If I fished with a kid or spouse/GF more i probably would have gotten the console on the 1880 too, but i really like setting the spot lock and walking around the entire boat to pick apart an area. No issues so far on mine, other than the trim switch on the motor just going out, which is obviously not a vexus issue. Love the boat.
