    Transducer cable replacement ZX250. Any tips?

    I am upgrading my Lowrance HDS9 Gen3 on the console on my 2017 ZX250. I need to install and run the new transom mount transducer cable to the console. It looks like I am going to have to dismantle several decks, panels and storage compartments to do this.

    Has anybody done this on a ZX250 (or related)? Any tips? I see the youtube video on a guy who did a ZX190 but his boat is way structurally different. Every other youtube video they just "skip over that part".

    tie a cord to the cable and tape so no blunt ends when you pull it out use the cord to pull the new one back in

    thanks slotcarracr... i have seen videos of this but not on a Skeeter ZX250... have you done it this way on a Skeeter?
