2004 Ranger Trail swing away tongue pin

I need a trailer pin that locks the swing away part. Any idea where to find one that will fit. I may have to cut my old one off. I know Ranger doesn’t sell it anymore. No key that will open and full of rust I assume
2004 trailer think it was produced in 2003 ...called Ranger parts and was on hold for 30 minutes had to hang up...
    Thanks

I have an 05 Ranger Trail. Ranger sent me the newest model which served the purpose. Waited 50 minutes for someone to answer at Ranger today.

FYI - I bought the same one Ranger uses at Tractor Supply for about the same price.

DC, if you call at an especially busy time, try the service line in Springfield, which is 417-873-4555. Listed in the stickies above. — JC

You can get a 5/8 pin at tracker supply with a handle and cotter pin attached.

It’s a good idea to keep a spare one in the truck that is a item that can disappear in the ramp parking lot.

Just about anything that's not locked will eventually disappear at a ramp. It took me a few years to catch on and lost a wiring pigtail, swing away pin, one tail light and a draw bar pin. Now everything that can can be locked is locked.

no respect...good thing the ramp I normally go to is behind a locked fence (parking too).
...and that just keeps general public out.

Looks like a smaller padlock will fit the lynch pin hole on the bottom of my trailer pin. Will start using that...would suck to have it taken while out on the water.

I had that one, works ok. After a while the lock part can be a little touchy to get off.

This spring I bought BOLT Locks for the hitch and trailer coupler, I also ordered an extra hitch lock and had a stainless steel pin made for the swing away tongue. Now all three locks are keyed to the vehicle key, don't have to worry about forgetting the trailer key or carrying multiple keys.
