New Ranger holding water under the tool holders

I have a new Ranger 521L and it is holding water under the tool holders by the console. I removed the top and noticed there were no drain holes. I drilled 3 - 1/4inch holes to let the water drain. Has anyone experienced this? Will this water just drain to the bilge? Just want to make sure I am draining water into another trap.

    Thanks

Try pouring some water into the holes you drilled and see if it goes to the bilge area and that will answer your question about draining.

Tried that and it looks like it does drain correctly. I guess they just forgot to drill the holes in the factory. Problem solved.

I was on lake Erie this past weekend. A wave went over the front of the boat. I saw standing water in the front tool holder. I'm going to take the cover off tomorrow and look inside.
