Literal, yes there were literal slaves. Yes , those literal slaves (worked, performed services) for their master and recieved benefits for their slavery. Just like today. Yes today, we are slaves to many. Goverments, employers ect.
Try disobeying your master (employer in todays vernacular ) ..........probably wont end to well for you.

I am not interested in argument, just your opinion. I want to use your view as a tool, to come to my own conclusion. Unspoken rules won't allow these questions with people you know.
