Got to see him live when I was just a kid (8-9). Ran into him backstage, and he was the nicest guy. Was a fan from that moment. He will be missed.

I saw Charlie play several time from 1977 to 2017. I have front row tix for a show coming up in November and I was concerned about it being cancelled because of Corona. One of my favorites, a sad day, he will be missed. Tune in to WSM at 5 central for a replay of Charlie Daniels Opry performance.
