Hey all, looking to repower my 97 518vs. I've already upgraded from a 1997 175efi to a 2001 200efi. Now I'm looking to upgrade to a 3 liter engine....I'm looking to stay with mercury, to hopefully have ease of installation. The question is ....... what years of optimax/ pro xs are "plug and play" to.the existing wiring harness, etc. ??? Am I limited to pre XS motors ?
