    Cost to Wrap a boat

Anyone know approximate cost to wrap a 20ft boat? Looking at a boat and I hate the color, but the price is stupid cheap.

3500-4500 would be a good start and depends on materials and will need to more than likely be redone every few years.

Sand it down and paint it. Much cheaper and it’s pretty easy to do.

If it is stupid cheap, purchase it and use it. The color may grow on you.

If a boat runs and functions well, the color is a distant thought, for me.

Do the fish really care what color the boat is?

About 5 years ago I researched 2-3 places that wraps. I’m sure since then more available places have started up and so have prices. But, at that time, $1800-2200 for one place and around $3000 for the others. They said wraps last 10-12 years. Now that is providing you don’t rub a dock or brush. I heard guys say scratches come fairly easy.

Friend of mine bought an old Stratos 179v several years ago and the whole top cap was burnt orange, sides were brown, silver, and beige, and hull was beige. It was pretty solid and in his price range. That color combo grew on us and we caught a ton of fish out of that thing.
