I have a new Hook2 7 Double Shot with a trolling motor transducer on my boat and it is constantly freezing up or the depth depth range changes to 500 feet. I have to unplug it and restart it at least twice on every trip. Any suggestions on what is going on? I have Hook2 5 at my console and it never seems to have this problem.

Restore DEFAULTS and start over.
Is it the 7x? I have the triple shot version and have the same issue. My hook2-9 on the console has operated flawlessly all year. The 7x hasn't had a solid day yet.

My double shot works great but my triple shot freezes up some times when I'm in real shallow water but I can change it to Maps for a few seconds then go back to sonar and it starts working. One time I put it in manual mode while fishing shallow and it did good, went back to auto mode after going deeper, worked good there.
