    this new technology was re-launched as E-TEC Direct Injection Technology. Interestingly, the name E-TEC is not an acronym for anything. It's simply the name chosen for this revolutionary method of 2-stroke direct fuel injection.

    Long as this 250 holds up I'm fine.....When I ever get a shop built...I'll be tearing into the 225HO.....back up for tha G2 ya know.....

    Never could figure why Jose' let them develop and market the I 3, if they were worth a flip I'd buy one for my bay boat..But after the CEO allows it to go on and then kills the line...Va Te Faire Foutre~~

    I don't know anything about decisions that were made but the inline 3 is a cool engine, a 115 that can turn a 23 pitch prop and still jumps out of the hole, it is an impressive engine.

    My son was looking forward to the 115HO ......He has a 17' 6" Glasstream with a 90 Merc tower of power .... 86with original engine..... he was dying for the 115 G2...

    In all seriousness, from the 25hp tiller on a 16’ Jon boat to the 225 on my bass boat, I think the performance characteristics of them were something special. RIP...gone but not forgotten, just shows you that you can screw up a good thing.
