    Seal size

I have a 4 inch channel 2019 tandem trailer with a blown rear seal on the Vault hub of the rear axle. I can cross match the seal to replace it according to the chart from Dexter, but I don't know what size or capacity my axle is. The three likely choices would be 1.98 (1500-2500 lb), 2.33 (2900 to 4200 lb) or 2.56 (also 2900 to 4200 lbs). Once I know I can simply pick up the seal.

only you can take those measurements, seals in most case do have part number that can be cross referenced

You can get them from Bass Cat.

It also may be in warranty. Maybe call your dealer and check.

Thanks BCB. That is what I needed. That is an NOK seal and I can cross match it to the brand my local auto parts store carries which is National

    Don:
It is warranty, and I am actually waiting on an entire Vault hub assembly from BCB. But I am in Canada, and don't know if it will be here before I leave for holiday in a few days, so I want to be able to replace the seal on the current hub if the new one is not here on time. Thanks.

    Update:

So checking both here and over on the BCB website, there were some posts regarding the OD of the seal in reference. The one suggested by BCB above has an ID of 1.68, and an OD of 2.33. Many owners claim that the seal is NOK UD0135E which has the same ID of 1.68, but an OD of 2.56. Mine turned out to be the 2.56 (National 470460 cross referenced). I actually spoke with the product training manager of the marine division at Dexter Axle who was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable (BTW, he is a huge fan of BCB). He says that the majority are 2.56, and only occasionally they use a different supplier that requires the smaller OD.
