    Power pole wireless controller

I bought a used set of power poles without remotes. These poles have the parker pumps and power pole wireless control box.
I called power pole and told them what I have and ordered a wireless remote. They sent me a remote for mag sync. However my wireless control box does not say "mag sync" did power pole send me the wrong remote? The programming instructions say to wave the remote over the "mag sync" logo on the controller....that which mine does not have. Any help would be appreciated.

They sent you the correct remote hand FOB. The box you have is prior to them putting Mag Sync on the box and being able to wave the remote in front of the box.

On the box you have you may need to remove the cover of the box. There is a button inside the box to sync the remote.

Friend of mine has the same set-up. His remote quit working. When you wave the remote in front of the control box, do you have to push the buttons on the remote. Thanks

Place the new transmitter on the Mag-Sync logo on the receiver box until
the red programming LED is lit. Only a current Mag-Sync transmitter
with internal magnet can be programmed using this process.
    2) Push the up button on the transmitter three consecutive times at one
    second intervals.
    3) The receiver and transmitter are now programmed to match and are
    ready for use.

What is average time to hold it there. I got my MAG-SYNC from you yesterday and couldn't get it to sync?

It should only take a few seconds for the light to activate. If the light does not activate, no matter the amount of time the remote is held on to the receiver box, the programming spring on the inside may be seized, from not being used. If you have a stronger magnet, a shop magnet will work best, you will be able to set the remote receiver box into program mode. Once the light does activate, press up three times on the key fob.
Please let me know your findings, and if the steps above worked.
