Power loading
Odd question but after 6 years of having an SHO I figured I’d ask. Does everyone’s motor bog down when power loading? I glide up on and when I gun it up on it just feels as though there isn’t much power there. Maybe it’s shallow water but I was curious

As I fish mostly on TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) draw down reservoirs, I power load all the time and have never noticed an issue as you note. In the past I have had bass boats with a 4 blade prop and they can have too much bite and be more difficult to power load.
I explained what the TVA is, as I have had to do that before to non southern folk.
