ROYGBIV
I recently purchased a TN C-Map for my Gen 3. I did some research and through videos, I figured out how to do depth shading on my unit using this map. The issue: my "senior citizen" brain could not remember what depth range I assigned to each color, other than red for shallow. Then it dawned on me, go ole ROYGBIV, the visible spectrum of colors I learned way back in the 9th grade. So I started at red for 5 feet or less and then went through the colors needed, orange, yellow, green, etc. and made everything above 30 feet as white. Hey, it works for me and the C-Map detail on Chickamauga is amazing. Thank you Lowrance and Mr. Kresgee, 9th grade physical science at MCHS in Chatsworth, GA.
