Solas scorpion on 250 vmax hpdi

Has anyone replaced their 25 T-1 15 1/8 yamaha vmax series prop on their yamaha 250hp vmax hpdi motor (and 21i skeeter boat) with a solas scorpion 25 prop? Did it work well, did you go with a 25 pitch? I read some posts saying the scorpion blades are thicker and you need to adjust to a 23????? I also heard solas makes Yamaha's props so not sure if I should stick with 25 or 23? Thanks for your help.

I had a loner prop which was a solas 25p on my ranger z21 with a sho 250, with that prop it wouldn't even get on plane without the prop blowing out.

I tested a 23 scorpion on my 200 HPDI. It ran great, but was a little too stiff. I could only turn it about 5350, and I turn a 25 Tempest 5500. I'd like to try a 22 sometime. To answer your question, yes, they're stiff and a 23 is about equal to a 25 T1. I had a T1 that I could turn 5700, but was slower than my Tempest.
