I am wanting to get a couple high end 7’ med lite spinning rods to cast lite jigs on for crappie. What would be a good choice? Thanks in advance.

How heavy of crappie jigs? I picked up a St. Croix Legend Panfish Rod this winter, so far really great rod. 7’ Light...fishes a 1/16oz jig perfect. I have a 1000 series tatula on it.

Think like a fish, no matter how weird it gets
Shimano intenza if you dont want to spend alot i really like the 76 i cast 1/16 ball heads with a 2.8 keitech a long ways
Shimano Zodias is probably my favorite crappie rod. I use a 7' medium. Has a nice light tip for casting light jigs. I havent tried the ML
Daiwa BLX 6'10" Light+. The extra 2" make no real difference. That rod feels like it was born to catch crappie. I have a Tatula LT 2000 on mine and the whole setup weighs 9.4oz, with line.
That BLX 610L is a fantastic rod without a doubt.
If you don't want to spend BLX money, the Daiwa Kage Ultralight series are extremely impressive. They make a matching 1000 size reel that makes an outstanding panfish combo.
.
love my 7ft. light+ Expride A rod.
