Scratches in bottom of hull...repair question

I have some scratches in the bottom of my 08 hull....normal wear and tear type stuff from fishing shallow...a few are deep enough to see some fiberglass (these are small and narrow)....is this something I can try on my own or should i have it done by someone?

I use the Evercoat gelcoat repair kit every year to fix chips. I can never get it to match exactly, but it works well enough.

i use this brand to, heck I fixed a decent chip at midnight, did some sanding at 4am and fished a tournament at 6am then finished sanding the next day.

If glass is showing, you need to get the scratches repaired ASAP. Overtime, the glass will absorb water and could result in delamination. If the gel on the bottom of your boat is a solid color, it's a relatively easy DIY job.
