Is the Helix 7 MSI a big enough screen to effectively use SI? I have never had SI before and have a budget that is limited $700. Would love to get into side imagining, but don’t want to go with the 7 MSI and then really not be able to use the SI.
Any user advice is appreciated.

With full screen SI, the image is about 6" wide. Certainly adequate for less than 50' depths and 75' or less range. The display size is the same as the 800 series from a few years ago.

Copy that image to your computer and size it so the width is physically 6 1/16" wide.

You can record the sonar and play it back at home on a computer......great for analysis after a trip
did HB ever fix the SI palette issue on this model?
