USA Speaking of CLEAN POWER- "My (Insert Gizmo Name) Doesn't Work after new Battery"

A little humor to brighten your day....Title pretty much says it all.

Pick anything 12V that could be put in a boat. Run a separate circuit for EVERYTHING. EV-ER-Y-TH-IN-G!
Who needs distribution blocks and fuse panels!

Ok... if this is your idea, please just DON'T.

It's been a LONG, LONG time since I've pulled out THIS "special" tool:

    OMGosh, what a horror show.

I have a good one, but sadly, no pictures.

My sisters boyfriends dad-who is supposedly a mechanic-by trade, for some reason was drilling into the lead battery posts and then installing screws into the holes to hold the ring terminals for whatever electronics he was adding to my sisters car. We were flummoxed when we saw the inanity of his work-just like your pictures above. Some of the screws had the battery acid leaking out of them as evidenced by the white/green powder around the screws.

    People.

I see the humor in that... but just in case someone else is wondering, this isn't AJ's boat (I've never seen his boat).
