    Spinning reel drag issue

    Have a Daiwa spinning reel and no matter how tight i tighten the drag the line still comes out. Any ideas in a fix?

    How is your line attached to the spool? Look closely at the spool as the line is coming out, is the spool turning or is the line on the spool turning? If the line is turning on the spool you will have to remove all the line and attach the line securely to the spool before winding on more line.

    wrap the spool with one wrap of painters tape before attaching line. Dan
