    SS3D Transducer CLICKING LOUD

    Recently I upgraded my SS3D transducer software (StructureScan3D-20.0-63.1.222-Standard-1.riw) and now notice it is clicking VERY LOUDLY. I can hear it clicking from the front of the boat, never heard it before this upgrade. Lowrance finally got back to answering my email with this... Thank you for contacting us.
    Yes, you should hear that clicking/pinging sound for you to be sure that your transducer is working properly.

    The thing is clicking so loud now it would scare deaf fish away..... Has this happened to anyone else since updating the software? I hope I don't have to do a Hard reset.

    You are not using the latest SS3D software. Ver 20.0-63.1.291 is available. I would try updating.

    You can`t do a hard reset on a module. That is something you do on the HDS (after saving waypoints). Can`t say I have noticed any difference in sound on my SS 3D though.
