Based on the Prop going to assume that is a 250 SHO, it will need to run high on the Jack Plate but not all the way up, and that depends on what hole the motor is mounted in,
are you running a 10" or 12: jack plate?, Atlas or Bobs? what RPMS are you turning?

Your SHO should be mounted in the second hole from the top. Now as Drew said what jackplate and RPMs are you at?

Chine Walk......Chine not chim or chime. Sorry, spent a lot of time in my line of work proof reading manuscripts. Just for some of my other buddies, it's Rip Rap....not Riff Raff. Rip Rap is man-made shoreline rock, Riff Raff is people sitting on Rip Rap throwing rocks in the water while you're trying to fish.

I have a 921phx with a 250 sho and you don't need a lot of trim! I changed to a 26 Bravo 1 and the jackplate around 15 -16 and maybe half trim and it runs 72 @ 6000 rpms in south florida in 90 plus temps.I run a 27 bravo in the cooler months and can push 74. When I first bought my boat it came with the Yamaha 25 T-2 prop and it walked a little. the bravo changed all that for me. Your boat should run faster than mine from what I've heard.

With the setup correct your boat will run above 70 easily with no hands on the wheel. I've done that during several demo rides showing folks how easy the Phoenix hull is to drive.

My 721 was walking bad when I first got it, but it was my fault. I was putting too much trim into it, and doing it too fast. Now I know by my gauge where my trim number should be at. I ran mine mine til she stopped gaining speed, then bumped the trim again and repeated this process until I found her sweet spot. I can run 80+ with one hand now and smooth as a baby's butt.
