    Does anyone know if a group 29 battery will fit in the battery trays?

    I’m fixing to buy new batteries and my 819 came with group 27. I would like to buy group 29’s if they will fit without a bunch of hassle.

    There’s different size battery trays, you’ll need to measure the ones in your boat.

    Yes I own a tape measure but figured it much easier to just ask instead of walking to the shop, digging it out of the tool box, and getting down in the bilge to measure battery trays. Stupid me. Appreciate y’alls help.

    Trays measure 13" in length. Most 29 s are 12.75 +/- in length so yes.

    29 should fit I had to cut mine to fit the 31 in a 819.
